Czech Republic Adopts Amendment Impacting Cookie Consent Requirements

On January 1, 2022, the Czech Republic’s amendment to the Electronic Communications Act, relating to the storing and accessing of cookies and other information on user’s devices and telemarketing, came into effect. Until January 1, Czech website owners could only rely on the opt-out principle in the use of cookies.
